Wondering What to Cook in Your Air Fryer?
Try this Folded Quesadilla and Turn Your Party Loose!
Don’t Have an Air Fryer? Then Fry Them in Your Skillet
I never intended to own an air fryer. I couldn’t see the benefit versus its space hogging. Then I went to a party and was served an air fryer quesadilla. Bam! I went out and got one! There was a perfection in the browning of the tortilla created a taste bomb I only get in a restaurant. Let’s go!
Creating a folded quesadilla is so clever. Slice one radius cut in a large flour tortilla, and then plan on adding a variety of ingredients in the imaginary four quarters. Then carefully fold to create a folded quesadilla.

Note: Use a knife and cut one radius [above—the solid line]. Note the hash lines: these are imaginary to guide you to adding the four quadrants of ingredients. Leave a little space at those lines so it will fold easily. Once filling all four quadrants, the folding starts with lifting the lower left quadrant onto the upper left quadrant, then fold again onto the upper right quadrant, and finally fold over the lower right quadrant.
You can fit four folded quesadillas into the air fryer at a time. Set the timer 8-10 minutes @ 360ºF and cook a batch, flipping once at the halfway mark.

Put out a variety of ingredients to create a quesadilla bar: change out the international ingredients: We made Reubenesque Sandwiches with wild success

This is a Kinda Rubenesque Quesadilla: Horseradish sauce and Pretzels, Then Sauerkraut, Then Swiss Cheese, and Finally Prosciutto Ham
The ingredients should be drained, and the first quadrant should have something easy to fold [don’t have minced ingredients in the first quadrant, [see above]; Plan on the protein to be in the first quadrant, so you can start the fold and the ingredients will stay in position as it gets flipped over.
When ready to air fry, spray the top and bottom of the tortillas. Place them in a preheated air fryer 360ºF. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping half way through.
